I captured this splash of the sea at Wilson’s Promontory National Park, which is the Southern most Promontory of the Australian Continent, it protrudes into Bass Strait. The promontory consists of well rounded granite boulders that have tumbled down to the coast from high up on Mount Oberon, this photograph was captured on one of the beaches that are strewn with boulders at the each headland that separates the long stretches of pristine sand. For me, there is nothing more beautiful in nature than the shape the water takes, the waters of the oceans have a special consistency and shape which is very different to the shape of fresh water.
All photographs are currently available in hard copy only and are printed on FujiFilm CA DPII Silk Professional Archive quality photographic paper. All prints are of a quality that is suitable for framing as both the paper and ink are resistant to fading, however any photograph or painting should never be hung in the full sun.
All prints are on 30 x 21 cm size paper (which is A4 size) there is a boarder of about 5mm to facilitate framing. When the original image has been cropped and no longer conforms to the same ratio there will be a larger boarder on one or two sides, we normally don’t trim the paper as sometimes it’s easier for framing with the full size paper.
We offer groups of prints in Duo and Trio sets at a reduced print price, if you wish to order several prints that are not necessarily grouped together please contact us prior to making your purchase and you will also receive the reduced price.
Shipping – each print is sent inside its own plastic zip pocket and the photograph is protected by a clean sheet of paper inside the pocket. The print or multiple prints are then sent inside a special cardboard flat box envelope which has specially reinforced corners and does not bend – these boxes are especially made for shipping photographs, so your prints should arrive in pristine condition.
